Job Description:
- Supervisor/Manager of General Accounting will oversee parts of the Property Accounting team as well as manage parts of the OneLink upgrade.
Property Accounting Responsibilities Include:
- Performing reconciliations
- Reviewing reconciliations for various property accounts (deferred rent, prepaid taxes, fixed asset accounts, CIP accounts, rental income accounts, etc.)
- Submitting JE's for leasing transactions, capital purchases, capitalization and expensed maintenance projects
- Review property and other general JE's
- Monitor CIP and fixed asset sub-ledger and ensure balances are accurate
- Perform and/or review quarterly reporting to system office
- Perform periodic inventories of physical assets
- Review results of physical inventories
- Execute specific SOX controls
- Act as the liaison between Property Accounting and internal auditors
- Present results of property accounting monthly to management
- Field questions from a team of four regarding the overall capital process (requisition approval, procurement and capitalization)
Project Work Will Include:
- Tracking system requirements for the project
- Identifying controls related to data conversion
- Testing data conversion
- Performing UAT
- Acting as a liaison between the region and the project team
- Work with region to streamline business processes to ensure efficiency
Requirements (Must Have):
- BA/BS degree and CPA certification
- PeopleSoft experience
- Project management experience implementing an ERP system, including data conversion, UAT testing, stabilization
- Exposure to PeopleSoft Project Costing and Asset Management module is a plus
- Flexible, quick learner, self-motivated
Standard Work Hours:
- 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
