Support Customer engine product development and improvements and CPI issues by performing FE dynamic and thermal analysis and virtual validation.

Responsibilities include:
  • Performing structural analysis and initiating solution ideas
  • Correlating with physical tests
  • Evaluating new products, processes or systems
  • Communicating results to customers, suppliers, team members
  • Supporting other engineers
  • Providing best actionable recommendations and solutions.
SKILLS:

Required Qualifications:
  • The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in mechanical Engineering or related engineering field, and at least 1 year industrial experience in structure simulation.
  • Strong initiative, communication skills, customer focus, teamwork, and planning skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently are required.
  • Must have experience in engine structure simulation, especially for engine vibration and dynamic simulation.
  • Should also have experience on static stress analysis, heat transfer, material nonlinear, fatigue life, bolted joints and welded structure and be proficient in ABAQUS, Hypermesh, NASTRAN, IDEAS, NX CAE, and Fe-Safe.
  • Proficiency in Pro E
Desired Qualifications:
  • Masters or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field
  • Two or more years of industrial experience in engine vibration and structure simulation.
  • Experience in vibration tests.
  • Experience in machine dynamics
  • Experience in engine structure design and validation
  • Engine vibration test software skills
  • LMS test Lab and/or ME'scope Pro E skills sufficient for FE modal preparation
  • 1 year Intermediate Structured Analysis Preferred
