A CRES (Corporate Real Estate) Facilities Project Manager is required for a high profile, large scale CAT B Office relocation for a leading Commercial Bank in the City of London.

Reporting to the Programme Director and Steering Committee, supported by Project Support and Control Groups, this is a fantastic opportunity to manage this large-scale CRES Project from conception.

Working with all stakeholder group leaders across the Bank, supported from the top by the CEO, the role offers visibility and exposure at all senior levels and is seen as a positive move to improved offices across the group.

Main Role will include:

Overall project management of CAT B office fit-out and relocation to nearby new 135k sq. ft. premises in Q2 2016.

Development of detailed project plan and timelines

Development of detailed project budget for fit-out (part Cat-A & Cat-B) and relocation.  Reporting of actuals vs budget. Overall budget c.£15-£20m.

Co-ordination of Project Support and Control activities

Co-ordination and membership of Technical Committee that will oversee IT Infrastructure, Audio/Visual requirements liaising with external advisors for support on this

Co-ordination and membership of Design Committee that will oversee several work streams supported by external architect/designer/space planner

Co-ordination of Steering Committee and providing it with regular progress updates on the various work streams, financials, risks reporting, etc.

Facilitation of procurement process, ensuring policy is adhered to

Ensure project is delivered on time and on budget.

The successful candidate will possess:

Project Management background with a strong track record in delivering successful office relocation projects of a similar scale, ideally in Banking/Financial Services.

Strong communication skills at all levels, including Boardroom level presentations.

Good team player with advanced planning, co-ordination and organisational skills.

Delivery focussed with close attention to detail.

Calmness under pressure.

Commercially aware with strong financial and negotiating skills.

Proven experience in risk management and reporting.

This is a two year contract offering the successful candidate control and sight of the full life cycle.
