Large, Atlanta-based company has an immediate need for a EDI Architect on a 6+ month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of the overall vision of the company's EDI architecture and transformation of that vision through execution into a solution. They need a seasoned technologist who has led multiple projects thru the SDLC in the area of high volume B2B data interchange for large Insurance carriers using ANSI X12 and other standard transfer protocols. Will work closely with trading partners in order to enable and expedite bidirectional interchange of hazard insurance transactions.

Requirements:

  • Track record of successfully implementing B2B solutions with large Insurance carriers using any-to-any transformation and different types of transfer protocols
  • 5+ years of recent EDI ANSI X12 Implementation/Development - In-depth knowledge in EDI 811,820, 266, and 824
  • Sound knowledge on EDI segments and their usages
  • 2+ years using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and its Data Transformation Mapper and Graphic Process Modeler
  • 3+ years using Microsoft .Net
  • Clear understanding of BPML, DTD, XML, XPath, Flat Files, SQL Scripting, J2EE Framework and N-Tiered Architectures, Database Schemas and related concepts, Web Services, SFTP, VAN, FTP, and HTTP.
  • Demonstrated collaboration across the organization for application strategy, design, development, implementation, and support.
  • Able to write sound technical documentation (System Requirements Specification, Technical Specification, GAP analysis, and Test Plans).

Pluses:

  • Knowledge of ESB technologies -- Neuron, NServiceBus or BizTalk
  • Implementation of large scale Service-oriented architecture
  • Bachelor's Degree
