We require 3 x IT Support/Desktop Administrators for an initial 3 month contract role based on the client sites in Edinburgh and Glasgow as required.

Essential skills/experience required:
Possess a minimum of 18 months experience working in an ICT/Customer Desktop support environment
Fully conversant with the MS Office Suite
Active Directory and MS Exchange 2010 administration
Windows 7 troubleshooting

Desirable would be any MCP or ITIL qualifications or any experience using service desk applications ie: Axios - Assyst

Role:
To resolve IT incidents and problems and offer technical support and guidance
Assist users in defining their needs for access rights and privileges
Monitor progress of requests for support and ensure users and other parties are kept informed
Follow agreed procedures
Receive and log requests for support from the help desk other staff and users and prioritise accordingly
Assist users in making more effective use of desk top systems, products and services
If you have worked with tablets and Windows 8 previously that would be advantageous.
