Description
Large Media Owner with a stellar reputation seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst/Data Analyst/Data Management Executive with strong knowledge of data quality practices to support its company enterprise data strategy. This is a contract position for an initial 3 month period.
Good SQL and Excel skills are essential. You will need to have an understanding of: relational/dimensional database concepts and architecture; ontologies; taxonomies and ideally data mining.
As the Data Quality Analyst, you will be a key member in the team responsible for creating and maintaining models, ontologies and the data dictionary. You will be responsible for analysing Business Intelligence & performance related data; running quality checks and producing procedures around data quality. This role will also see you work closely with engineers, data managers, web/API/database developers and QA testers, great communications skills are therefore a must.
Any experience of one or more of the following would be advantageous: Visual Basic, R, SAS, SPSS.
