Catalogue Manager

Contract Length: 7 months +

Duties:
Under the direction of the Senior Catalogue Manager, the incumbent will perform duties such as the following:
-Maintain up-to-date the interim catalogue of services during the bridging period
-In conjunction with SStrat, take into account the inputs from Service Portfolio after the bridging period.
-In support of the Senior Catalogue Manager, maintain the level 2 processes on Service Catalogue Management (SCM) and provides regular reports on their implementation.
-In support of the Senior Catalogue Manager, establish strong relationship with SStrat and SSupl in order to give agility to the SCM processes.
-Performs other duties as may be required.

Experience and Education:
-A university degree in Business Administration or a related discipline; relevant postgraduate qualifications is desirable but can be offset against the appropriate experience.
-A minimum of 5 years' experience in a position that requires regular contact with customers, clients and business partners.
-ITIL V2 Service Management qualification
-Proven experience with process architecture
-Experience with process automation and relevant toolsets/application
-Extensive MS Office knowledge
-Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization.
-Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with strong briefing skills.

Desirable Experience and Education:
-A recognised service management or customer relations qualification and extensive experience in development and implementation of a catalogue of services
-Prior experience of working in customer-oriented, service-based, multinational organisation comprising both military and civilian elements.
-Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including nations, ACO and ACT.

Language Proficiency:
-A thorough knowledge of one of the two NATO languages, both written and spoken, is essential and some knowledge of the other is desirable.
-NOTE: Most of the work of the NCI Agency is conducted in the English language.

Travel:
-Occasional business travel to NCI Agency facilities in The Netherlands (Den Haag);
Professional Contacts:
The incumbent is responsible for:
-Support establishing and maintaining external contacts with scientists, political officers and military staff in bodies such as NATO International Staff, NATO International Military Staff, NATO Command Structure, NATO Agencies, multi-national organisations, national Ministries of Defence (MoD) and laboratories, private scientific and industrial organizations, the European Union, the United Nations, etc.;
-Support coordinating and cooperating with other segments of the Agency to adequately and satisfactorily perform the above mentioned duties.
