*Finance Business Partner, Investment Banking, Accountancy Accreditation-Canary Wharf-6 months*
A top tier investment bank based in Canary Wharf require a Finance Business Partner who has a proven track record within investment banking.
Main responsibilities and key tasks
*Conduct month end closing, ensuring all costs are accurately accounted for
*Analysis and understanding of monthly actuals and preparation of commentary to explain variances to budget and forecast
*Preparation of monthly forecast file
*Preparation and presentation of monthly cost and headcount pack to the EMEA Management Committee and EMEA Business Management teams
*Review and process monthly budget transfers, restatements and hierarchy reorganisations
*Conduct ad hoc analysis in response to specific initiatives and requests from the business
*Assist with enhancing and simplifying existing monthly reports and processes
*Partner with EMEA clients so that they have sufficient knowledge and understanding of the cost base to be able to make strategic decisions
Training/experience
-Degree
-Qualified accountant
-Previous financial management experience
-Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
-Experience of Hyperion Essbase and Business Objects an advantage
