Overseas Legal Adviser, Banking, London, Compliance, Policy and Framework writing, £ per day
A key banking client in London urgently require a strong candidate from either a compliance of legal background to draft cross border policies with regard to the regulatory position of other counties on a 6 month rolling contract paying £ per day.
You will meet the following requirements:
- Will have had experience working within a Compliance and/or Legal function, with exposure to policy work and/or a control framework environment
- May have had exposure to workflow and business process modelling
- Supporting the process of eliciting legal guidance from external counsel
- Assist in the generation of Business 'Guidance Notes' based on the legal guidance received from external counsel, which will summarise the key points if the legal advice for business users
- Clearly understanding the Overseas Framework Project Business Requirements and helping to drive these forward until delivered
- Supporting the design and generation of how the advice is presented to the end users
- Guidance will be provided as to the content and form of these policies.
- The candidate will need to be able to convert regulation into such guidance. It is therefore a requirement that the candidate is able to easily identify the high level principles behind regulation.
