Amir: The requirement for Front End Developer is as follows,
Required Skills and Experience:
- Overall experience of 10+years in IT with minimum 4-6 years' experience in web development: understand web accessibility, web development in different desktop and mobile browsers
- Expert in web Front End technologies such as basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery
- Must have very good knowledge in HTML5, CSS3 and Responsive Web Design
- Must have experience in Prototyping tools and techniques (like Ruby)
- Experience in advanced jQuery plugin authoring
- Very good experience in JS Test automation
- Must have experience in Haml & Sass
- Experience in Agile scrum
- Be responsible for delivering the deliverables with quality and on-time
Additional skills (Good to know):
- Familiar with any Content Management System
- Know the concept of progressive enhancement
- Java or JSP knowledge
- UI and UX design
Role Description:
- Understand the solution concept before starting the UI Design
- Produces UI codes from relevant information and design the components
- Comparing the Business Proto with UI and get it reviewed with the solution concept
- Follow the documentation process and adhere to the coding standards as provided by TCS standards or as provided by the client
- Performs unit testing (Cross Browser Testing and Break Point Testing)
- Provide instructions to the Development team on how to synchronize the Prototype UI components with the Real Time implementation
- Provides post - implementation support for defects reported by customer by providing timely and appropriate resolution
- Tracks all defects and fixes bugs within defined SLAs by consolidating, prioritizing, analysing defects/bugs and making the necessary code changes
