Description
Flint is seeking an IMS delivery expert for significant deployment project based in Mumbai in India.
This IMS delivery expert should have a deep understanding of the mobile packet core where it interfaces with the IMS platform.
Successful candidates will have comprehensive knowledge in the packet core network domain and IMS systems, from a technical perspective and experience of delivering IMS solution to MNO's based on best practices.
Additional skills that will be considered are
- Experience with providing advice to project & product areas, on best practices, required capabilities,
- Information on systems, tools and vendors that exist in the market.
- Management and soft skills for an inter-cultural multi nationality project
The successful candidate is expected to work closely with colleagues and client engineers to solve issues arising from the integration of all different system. This will be based on previous experience and knowledge of Operator's networks.
The delivery project will cover the following tasks:
- Manage the deployment and integration of the IMS Platform with the LTE EPS and 3rd party elements.
- Assuring that all network related milestones are defined and met for a soft launch.
- Close alignment with business, RAN, devices, product engineering and OSS/BSS teams required
- Manage vendors that are part of the whole LTE-IMS eco-system in order to achieve the target goals.
Contribution to team deliverables:
- Assist in end-to-end network launch plan.
- Provide technical expertise for features on the network side (eg DPI, packet optimization, virtualization).
- Support in execution through coordination with Product Engineering, Devices, Radio access and Marketing functions.
- Advise on RAID risk register (incl. mitigation plan).
- Create/develop technical documents in the areas requested by counterparts to assist in technical evaluation of proposed solutions.
Assignment in India will be subject to a circa 10% country with holding tax. Rates will be competitive and all inclusive, or with local transport and accommodation supplied.
