Computer Peoples Public Sector Health Client has an immediate requirement for a contract Communications Officer to work on an exciting 18 month project engagement.

The Communications Officer will ensure that both internal and external stakeholder engagement and communications are planned and implemented effectively to support a huge complex project implementation.

Working alongside the Project Manager the communications officer will perform the following duties and responsibilities:

* The development of a Project Communications Strategy and the timely delivery of a communications plan that supports and promotes the implementation of the clients project.

* Constantly assess the validate and need of updating the project communication strategy in order to fully support all outputs of the project both pre and post implementation.

* Preparation and management of the content for the project website and social media platforms to ensure visibility and information of project progress.

* Development and organisation of publication activities, communication materials, flyers, newsletters aimed at empowering stakeholders and enhancing visibility of the project outcomes.

* Ensuring strong continuous relations/contacts with internal stakeholders, external stakeholders and media.

The communications officer must have a proven record of communications and media outreach work, and a solid record of managing complex and challenging partnerships within the media sector.
