We at Chase Resourcing, in conjunction with our client, a Global Leader in the Finance & Information Technology sector, are looking for people made of More to join their expanding operations in Tralee, to support the group’s Western Hemisphere IT operations including US, UK, Dubai and potentially other markets in due course.

We are currently seeking a WorkFlow Designer / Automation Engineer to join our team in Tralee

Responsibilities

  • Reduce the cost of algorithmic and repetitive Infrastructure activities by automation and workflow creation.
  • Enable Level 2 or Computer Operations to perform certain tasks, which are  currently performed by Engineers and Administrators like Patching, Server Build, Server startup, Server Shutdown, Agent install, Agent upgrade.
  • Take existing manual workflows from Unix, Storage and Database ( and DSG and NMG if requested), and convert them into workflows in Heat 2013
  • Use a solution like Heat 2013 or Opentext to create the workflows.
  • Migrate the Technology Recovery workflow from SDT into Heat 2013.
  • Enable mature and transparent delivery of Infrastructure work to end customers.
  • Develop any scripts required to complete workflow and automation, as and when required.

Experience / Proven Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science
  • 1 year in IT with Basic programming knowledge
  • Desire  to learn and accept challenges
  • Good communication  skills
  • Training will be provided in Heat 2013 and Opentext as well as scripting

  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
