Description
Responsibilities include:
- With supervision, perform basic installation methods, startup, checkout and commissioning.
- Assist the engineering team on pre-engineering and estimate preparation
- Keep all project documentation and paperwork up to date.
- Learn the industry and products Honeywell offers to its customers by on the job training, on-line training and formal class room training.
- Troubleshoot hardware & software issues; make changes to meet specific requirements
Have an understanding of electrical circuitry, construction environments and safe work practices
Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, mechanical and control drawings - Able to work flexible hours to accommodate project and client requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Technical Diploma NICET II Fire Alarm Certification
- Computer Networking Experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, company vehicle provided
- Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 35 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- Computer system Diagnostics and troubleshooting aptitude
- Experience in programming/installing/commissioning computer control systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and independent environment
- Experience with IP, networking and wireless technologies
