Description Overall Purpose:
- Manages projects from initiation through delivery.
- Responsible for meeting the project requirements and managing project scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risk.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1) Establishes and assembles project teams, and coordinates activities.
2) Develops detailed work plans, project estimates, status reports, project tracking and analysis.
3) Performs economic and other analysis as required to achieve the best least cost.
4) Manages access for network of preferred access vendors to ensure that we provide the highest level of service and reliability for our customers.
5) Manages and obtains Customer Concurrence through direct and indirect communication with Customers and Account Teams as well as managing critical milestones throughout the project to ensure the best customer experience.
Education - Typically high school diploma; may require a Bachelors degree
- 3 - 5 years project management experience
- Knowledge of Granite, Microsoft suites.
- Experience with database management and integration.
- Prior Telco experience and knowledge of Legacy systems is a plus (eg, TRACE, Netmart/PART, ACMS, Mobility Provision and Engineering and or ordering, Bill Trac Pro)
- PMP certification is a plus
Role Specific:
- Project Management position within NPE focusing on MTSO and Cell Site coordination and design for the SE region including GA, SC, NC, MS, LA, TN, FL, KY, AL.
- Leads conference calls (kickoff/status/ect), roadblock resolution, and oversees the completion of end to end circuits in this region.
- Knowledge of Ethernet/IPAG/ETTCS network diagrams a plus focusing on equipment and fiber details needed to effectively project manage the sites.
- Must be detail oriented and proficient in WORD, EXCEL, Powerpoint, etc.
