Senior QA Test Engineer (Contract)
Description:
My Client based in Dublin City Centre is currently hiring an experienced QA (Web) Engineer. This role involves working as part of an agile development team maintaining, extending and refactoring the clients Web Test Suite codebase and Manual Testing. The role will be primarily focused on creating and updating automated tests using the Selenium WebDriver and existing framework.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain Test Cases from Requirements documentation.
- Execute Manual & Automated Tests.
- Write Automated Tests.
- Troubleshoot and verify software defects logged internally and externally and associated fixes
- Document Software Defects
- Coordinate and Communicate with developers on defect fixes and required modifications
- Problem solving, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work within a team and to make a valuable contribution.
- Work on continuous deploy/delivery framework with UI and Backend Developers.
Essential Skills/Attributes:
- Minimum 2+ year's software test experience.
- Experience with test automation in Selenium WebDriver
- Experience in Web Manual Testing across multiple browsers
- Experience with web debugging tools eg Firebug, fiddler, Chrome Developer tools
- Ability to deliver quality Test specifications.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Experience in Defect logging
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodology.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with IntelliJ, Perforce, JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Familiarity with databases
