Primary Responsibilities:
  • Create documentation and work instructions for production manufacturing processes.
  • Define proper work methods for task and appropriate processes for work flow activities.
  • Develops policies and procedures specific to plant operations.
  • Documents manufacturing processes and methods that are efficient, effective and safe.
  • Conducts ad hoc studies of manufacturing operations for improvement when requested.
  • Be a key contributor to FMEA processes in selected areas.
  • Responsible for identifying and recommending process improvements solutions.
SKILLS:

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or other related engineering field.
  • Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in Chemical, Food, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics or related manufacturing operations with a broad understanding of chemical processes and unit operations.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving ability.
  • Knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering design, design for manufacturability, and documentation procedures.
  • Must be able to interface with all levels of staff in a professional and collaborative manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Superior writing skills for process documentation and procedure/specification production.
