Description
Certes have been instructed to recruit an SC Cleared Network and Hosting Architect to join our public sector client based in Hampshire on a 12 month contract.
Our client has requested that the Network and Hosting Architect comes to the role with current SC clearance.
The Network and Hosting Architect will be responsible for:
-Generating the network and hosting sections of the organisation's IT delivery projects.
-Lead on the assessment of network and hosting aspects of vendor submissions during the Assessment & Demonstration (A&D) Phase of the IT delivery projects.
-Liaising with multiple arms of the organisation where necessary to ensure that the project's
-Architecture is policy compliant and exploits existing infrastructure where possible.
-Planning and documenting a hosting and connectivity architecture that will allow the application to connect with in-scope systems;
-Developing a framework to ensure users have controlled access to the application's functionality;
-Support the Technical Architect to scope and prioritise data feeds and automation of applications.
The Network and Hosting Architect should come to the role with:
-Experience in establishing Service Level Agreements for network and hosting services.
-Familiarity with secure defence networks.
-Strong understanding of network configuration issues including, security constraints, Firewall configuration, capacity planning, routing, availability etc.
-Strong understanding of hosting environments including platform choice, virtualisation, topology, DNS, LDAP, system & network Management, Web Services, REST, protocol characteristics, IP management, redundancy, database connector options.
