We have an exciting future opening for a IS Security Analyst position with our progressive client in the Columbia, SC area. This is a long-term contract position working on a new incoming multi-year contract!. Excellent communication skills required.

Job Responsibilities:
-- System Analyst for ArcSight Security Event Manager and Splunk SIEM systems in a large data center services operation.
-- Performs administration and monitoring tasks associated with these systems, Develops, implements, and executes standard procedures for the administration and operation of the ArcSight and Splunk systems.
-- Interfaces with other teams to adapt ArcSight and Splunk capabilities to meet operational requirements.
-- Tunes ArcSight and Splunk performance and event data to maximized system efficiency.
-- Assists with IDS event correlation using ArcSight and Splunk.
-- Responds to IT security incidents.
Candidate Requirements:
-- Technical Writing Skills
-- Network Ports, Protocols and Services Knowledge
-- Microsoft Active Directory Administration
-- Linux/UNIX and Windows OS familiarity.
