FX Operations Support Trade buy side Processing trade flow
My client is well established and respected buy side institution. They require someone with FX operations trade support experience. This is a 3 month rolling contract with continuous extension for effective staff. BUY SIDE EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL.
THE ROLE:
This position supports the trading desks. It focuses solely on buy-side institutional business and deals predominantly with the confirmation, instruction and settlements of Spots, Forwards and NDF transactions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Facilitation of matching trades in accordance with deadlines.
*Resolving failing trades between custodian and broker
*Resolving and investigating trade breaks as report by our Portfolio Control team.
*Creation and matching of Fixing Transactions
*Dealing promptly with trade queries and related issues.
*Population of Daily Cockpit to confirm tasks are complete and to detail issues.
*Maintenance of GTSS Static data
*Maintenance of CRD Static Data
*Other ad-hoc or project work as delegated to you
*Maintenance of Procedures for FX processes
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*3+ Years Buy Side experience
*High volume FX Processing experience.
*Complete understanding of FX trade flow.
*Complete familiarisation of Spots, Forwards, FX Swaps, NDFs and Fixing Transactions.
*NDF P+L Calculations
*FX Trade Matching
*FX Settlements
*Custodial Messaging via Swift
*Strong Risk awareness
