CAD Technician
Tangent are currently looking for a CAD Technician to work for our client, a large construction company, based in Basingstoke.
Accountabilities
Carry out 2D and 3D drawings to meet the needs of the business that includes:
Managing requests in a structured manner
Ensure drawings are dimensionally correct
Ensure drawings are technically robust and are buildable.
Maintain, improve & communicate the CAD Standards to improve awareness and the process
Adapt to clients' drawing/document management protocols
Use BIM tools to review and present engineering solutions
Experience
Individuals must have a recognised qualification in using 2D and 3D software and at least 3 years experience in a similar role. A working knowledge of drawing standards such as BS1192:1 and an understanding of BIM process and tools.
They must also have a good knowledge of piling operations and experience of piling techniques/designs. They must be able to interpret information received from Engineers and Consultants
Pay rates are around £15 per hour.
