If you have Software Application Support experience and want to work for an international company in a great location, this is the job for you!

We require two Application Support Technicians with around 3 years of experience to join an international ICT organisation in southern Italy. This is an English speaking role focusing on day-to-day maintenance and support for various applications used by people across multiple locations.

Application Support Duties:

. Provide day-to-day maintenance and support for various applications
. Support the configuration and installation of new applications
. Help deploy various tools and processes to assist in operational support
. Troubleshoot application-related queries from end users
. Resolve tier-2 application issues and escalate tier-3 issues
. Provide Application training to end users
. Help with the development and update of software application-related documentation
. POSSIBLY provide shift or stand-by service if needed
. Any other duties as required

Application Support Skills Required:

. Around 3 years Application Support or Technical Support experience
. Good working knowledge of Client Server applications in a Windows environment
. Experience with at least two of the following: MS SharePoint, MS SQL Server, Business Objects, LDAP and IIS Servers, MS BizTalk, MySQL, Domino Notes
. Familiarity with ITIL processes (certification is a bonus)
. Fluent English language skills (verbal and written)
. This role is focused on software applications and not network support or systems administration.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior support person to join a global and well known client and contract extensions will be available based on good performance.
