Our prestigious Healthcare client is looking for a Cerner Project Manager for initial 6 months contract role to be based in Doha, Qatar.

The Project Manager provides overall project leadership, management and oversight and manages projects through the entire life cycle and ensures they are closed on time, within budget and meeting the projects' objectives. The project manager is responsible for successful project delivery.

Key Accountabilities:

Effectively manages the implementation of several IT projects from initiation till deployment.

Responsible for planning, organizing and controlling all project resources and effort.

Develops work breakdown structure, detailed project plans and schedules and is accountable for monitoring and reporting on project metrics, issues, risks and overall progress.

Work with Project Delivery Manager and Project Coordinator and ensures assigned project tasks are performed in timely manner.

Monitor and ensures that project adheres to the established project management standards and methodologies and closely perform required procurement, communication and human resource management activities as required on the projects.

Develop/ensure required project documentation is complete.

Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed.

Actively manages risks and issues for assigned projects and when necessary, escalates issues to management*s attention for guidance and assistance in reaching a resolution

Facilitate and prepare consistent PM Status reporting and analysing project data against key process indicators so as to aid in the governance of the overall project management process. 

Perform vendor and stakeholder management to ensure business needs/requirements have been met.

Manages solution development - typically through third-party development.

Provide project data, information and recommendations to the management for further project analysis.

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and balance competing priorities, resources, schedules and budgets on the project.

Provide support and guidance to other project team members.

Establishes positive relationships with business customers and provides recommendations to improve process efficiencies

Acts as a liaison with IT and/or outside vendors as appropriate.

Lead project meetings and any events/activities required to support the project.

Qualification:

Education       

Bachelor's Degree in related field

Experience

  • Implementing of  Cerner Patient Accounting  and Charge Services products

  • Understanding of the software development process

  • Understanding of the US healthcare finance mode

Certification and Licensure  

 Project Management (PMP or Prince 2)

Job Specific Skills and Abilities

Fluency in written and spoken English

Good communications and interpersonal skills.
