Lead global communication activities for the Enhanced Global Labeling program. Support change management lead in preparing the organization for change. Develop and execute effective communication plans; guide the review and approval of communications products; align communications with change management principles; and execute plans flawlessly in support of program objectives.

Responsibilities
  • In collaboration with program and change management leads, develop global label communication strategy.
  • Identify target audiences and their communication needs.
  • Develop and manage communication plan.
  • Using a broad range of change communication tactics, prepare communication products that support effective team collaboration, raise awareness with target audiences, and help prepare the organization for change (eg, annual events calendar, monthly team briefings, town halls, all-staff briefings, newsletters, change management tools, etc.).
  • Support global labeling program leads in the preparation of compelling presentations to senior leaders and other materials, as required.
  • Collaborate with workstream leads on the delivery of targeted workstream-related communications.
  • Support change management lead in establishing a change agent network.
  • Interact with change agents to identify deliverables required to support their change management activities.
  • Maintain the global labeling SharePoint web site. Refresh content regularly, gather and post updates from workstream leads, and manage the program feedback mechanisms.
  • Provide other ad hoc communication support to global labeling program.
  • Cultivate good working relationships to ensure an in-depth understanding of key program activities, clarify priorities, help mitigate risks, and close communication gaps.
  • Anticipate challenges and address them proactively to protect global labeling deliverables.
SKILLS:

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in communications, English, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare/pharma sector required.
Capability Requirements
  • 7+ years advanced experience in Business Writing/Editing
  • 7-10 years of experience developing and managing communication strategies, plans, and products in a large, complex organization.
  • Ability to provide strategic counsel for a variety of communication scenarios and to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness of communication strategies, plans, and products.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex information clearly and succinctly with text and graphics.
  • Highly proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint. Knowledge of various graphics formats.
  • Knowledge of change management principles. Familiarity with Accelerating Implementation Methodology (AIM) a plus.
  • Demonstrated initiative and creativity.
  • Process management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and with multiple stakeholders. Influence/negotiation skills and relationship management capabilities a must. Global/international experiences a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiples priorities in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate risks and manage them proactively.
