Description
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 10 years of Data warehousing experience in design and Architecting of small to medium sized datamarts and multi dimensional BI solutions.
10 years of Data warehousing experience to include the following:
- 5+ years Design and development of ETL solutions using SSIS ( R2)
- 3+ years of design and development of MOLAP solutions using SSAS
- Proficiency in writing MDX and SQL Queries
- Experience in performance tuning of SSAS cubes
- Experience in Data Testing Strong understanding of DW design and report development principles
- Expert knowledge of ETL techniques Good in technical documentation
Desired skills:
- Data Model Knowledge of Sales Force CRM Total 10 Years of Data warehousing Experience
- 3+ years of Design and Architecting
- 5+ years SSIS development experience
- 3+ Years building and maintaining SQL Server Analysis Service (SSAS) cubes and associated data stores.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, Design and architect BI solutions right from requirement documents?
Design and Develop ETL routines using SSIS to support Datamart design.
Design and Develop SSAS cubes to support BI design.
Analyze and Validate data to ensure reporting requirements are satisfied
Optimize performance of the data warehouse Maintain quality of data in the warehouse, ensuring: integrity of data in the warehouse, correcting any data problems, data concurrency, establish design procedures to purge/archive old data
Support delivery and deployment of defined technical solutions.
Communicate accurate and timely project status, issues, risks and scope changes to the Tech Lead
Document all work (both technical and procedural) and ensure that fellow co-workers understand how to support the application from the database perspective
