Description
As a contracted designer/developer at SchoolKeep you’ll have an opportunity to advance online education by designing user interfaces that will power the next generation of online schools. You’ll create user experiences for students and educators across all of our products and web sites. You’ll work in our extreme programming environment and use the latest technologies including HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, Heroku, GitHub and more. Our designers/developers are visually creative and possess the ability to implement their designs using HTML, CSS and Javascript. We’d love for you to help us:
- Collaborate with developers and marketers to build out new features.
- Create logical information architectures and stunning visual design concepts.
- Implement user experiences and interfaces using HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Create standard and reusable visual components and interface elements.
- Lead usability and user interface a/b/m testing and refine designs based on outcomes.
- 3+ years of experience working as a front-end web designer or developer
- Strong portfolio with a balance of visual design, HTML and CSS examples
- Expert with creative tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch
- Able to implement your own designs using HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Familiar with modern best practices with HTML and CSS (Preferably SCSS)
