Description
A local authority based in London are urgently looking for an interim Public Health Analyst to help deliver their Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment.
The position will be working the intelligence team, reporting to the Head of Health Intelligence. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of effective and evidence based public health information activity, providing input into the process of understanding health needs in the area, addressing health inequalities, determining priorities for action, assisting wider understanding of the characteristics of the local population and actively disseminating the findings of a wide range of analysis.
We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of public health, that will be able to interpret data and present their findings in a visually effective manner.
Experience of completing JSNAs for other local authorities or NHS organisations will be very beneficial for this.
The assignment will initially be for 6 months with options for extensions beyond this.
