Description
Will be responsible for critical email product management functions and CAN-SPAM compliance across all of our internal and Advertiser Products. The product manager will evaluate, analyze, plan and manage the development and launch of projects that leverage email to communicate with end users and advertisers - including transactional emails and monthly newsletters. As the overall owner of the email program, this will require planning, and execution around operational, financial, and corporate objectives while maintaining the integrity of the subscription list and email delivery reputation.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will also include user-facing projects on the websites to highlight/motivate subscription to coupon/deal and newsletter lists. This includes content management system integration, and other on-site, email projects.

- 5+ years product management and/or technical product management experience (software architects and program managers welcome)
- Proven abilities and track record
- Prior experience in running successful email marketing programs and platforms
- Forward looking individual capable of sound tactical execution and keen sense for metric management
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong technical capabilities and ability to cobble scalable solutions
- High energy, team player, anything can be done attitude
- Experience with the StrongMail Email platform
- Prior hands-on experience with CSS
- Prior experience with databases and SQL
- Prior hands on experience with content management systems
- Prior experience with Photoshop
- Prior experience with Unix Shell
