Delivery Manager

Contract opportunities are available to work as a Delivery Manager for a globally leading telecoms company. The roles can be based in two different locations, both of which are commutable from Rotterdam and will involve managing the acquisition and build of a batch of radio sites in line with telecoms roll-out processes, delivering the sites to a high quality and to budget and time constraints.

The positions are being offered on initial 6 month contracts with the potential of extension and are being offered on a very competitive daily rate.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure end to end delivery of sites in a region or cluster
• Manage assigned Roll-out team (Acquisitions, Construction, TX, Integration and Acceptance). Managing their activities to ensure project objectives are completed
• Provide roll-out forecasts of project results (setting accurate targets and time lines)
• Identify bottlenecks in project processes and implement improvements
• Stakeholder and risk management
• Coordinate Delivery Leaders, Delivery Coordinators, Site Engineers, Radio Planners, Delivery Coordinators and Negotiators
• Carryout weekly reporting on project progress
• Report to the customer Project Manager, Program Manager, Head of Department or customer

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience within the acquisition and build of a high number of radio sites in the telecoms industry
• Strong understanding of the steps involved in the roll-out of network projects, with experience of managing a cluster of projects/sites
• Experience of managing project stakeholders and risks
• Dutch language skills will be preferred, but English speaking candidates will be considered
• Strong leadership, management and communication skills
• Ability to think outside the box to overcome project issues
