The Company
The source and supply of gas and air products to a large range of customers. This client has a variety of plants that require the design and specification of High and low voltage switchgear and motors for their site based plant machinery and systems.
The Role
Electrical Design aspects for a variety of major and minor projects spanning the European plant operations. The role will be to evaluate and specify HV and LV switchgear, transformers, High voltage motors (induction and synchronous), variable speed drives and soft starters. Some will be in hazardous areas so experience of this type of atmosphere is important. You will also produce computer based studies in the areas of load flow, fault calculations, protection relay, arch Flash and HV motor starting.
The Candidate
*Knowledge of HV and LV switchgear, transformer and HV motors
*3years +electrical experience in the area of design
*Petrochemical or similar industry experience preferred
*Willingness to travel within Europe
*Degree level educated or Chartered/working towards chartered
