Description
Will be extracting 10 years of data from a Legacy system. Legacy system is Cobol which interacts with DB2 and Sybase. Will be Switching Cobol to iAvenue and Modifying iAvenue so that users can access data.
Responsibilities:
Design, coding and testing in support of our CRM/Data Warehouse system used for supporting our large commercial and industrial customers.
CRM package is iAvenue from Aptean. Support includes maintenance of the data extract from Legacy CIS system.
Design, code and test for a couple upcoming maintenance projects.
Extract new information from the CIS and place in iAvenue.
Update and correctly process additional data.
Expand data warehouse to capture more years of billing history.
SKILLS:
Requirements:
5 years of experience and a 4-year college degree.
A proven track record with specific examples of being an independent and quick learner.
Demonstrated problem solving skills, the ability to speak with clients using business terms, be able to collaborate with clients and with internal IT resources to find solutions which meet the business need and are maintainable for the long term.
Must have strong communications skills
Cobol preferred
Visual Studio 2010, including experience with VB.NET
Excel VBA coding
Java Coding, Java, and Java Scripting
