A Software Engineer is required by a global leading semiconductor organisation on a long term contract basis. These systems are used by the major semiconductor manufacturers to create integrated circuits that power an array of electronic, communications and IT products. .A Software Engineer is responsible for:
.Working with suppliers to select and introduce new multi-core embedded processor boards for our sub-systems.
.Helping with VxWorks BSP validation and integration within various software stacks.
.Debuging and diagnosing network, memory and/or peripheral related BSP ssues.
.Selecting and coordinating/supporting roll-out of new development environment for new BSP.
Education
.Bachelor or masters degree in electronic or technical software.
Experience
.Minimal 5 years in Software Development.
.Must have experience: Wind River, VxWorks, C and scripting, Python/Perl/Shell BSP porting experience, OS Abstraction layers.
.Nice to have experience: WindRiver Linux, PowerPC, Real-time embedded development VME, PCI, JTAG-ICE Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
