Role - Chemical EngineerType - initially 12 month contract
Location - South Tipperary, Ireland
One of our clients, a global Pharmaceutical Organisation is looking for an experienced Chemical Engineer to join their team on New Product Development and/or Process Support Manufacturing team:
Key Responsibilities:
• Completion of all recipe management activities, preparation of process and cleaning documentation.
• Ensuring that all safety, quality, environment and financial goals for a campaign are addressed.
• Identifying safety and operational issues for scale-up during laboratory experiments, process improvement initiatives.
• Completion of all process fit and campaign preparation of pilot, launch or supply campaigns. Performs appropriate calculations/analysis to assess process improvements.
• Monitoring campaign performance (safety, quality, environmental and financial) vs. campaign objectives and takes action as appropriate.
• Ensuring that all process and cleaning deviation events are thoroughly investigated, root cause identified and eliminated.
• Supporting project assignments as required, for example Site/Operations technical projects in collaboration with other departments
• Independently preparing and completing assigned documentation and reports required to support plant operations, tech transfer and regulatory filings.
Key Requirements:
• Be educated to an Honours BEng Degree or higher (chemical engineering)
• Manufacturing API experience and Lean Six Sigma (e.g. Green/Black Belt)
