In-Service Engineer; Hampshire; 11 months; £270/day

My client, a government sector organisation is looking to recruit an In-Service Engineer for 11 months in Hampshire. The In Service Engineer provides support or leadership on the technical aspects of the in-service phase.

Responsibilities:
*They seek to apply engineering best practice, ensure that all stakeholders are effectively managed throughout the engineering activities, involve specialists as required and actively consider safety implications before making decisions.
*Provide technical support through life to the User and other projects, involving and interfacing with Suppliers and specialists as required
*Take responsibility to deliver delegated technical work packages, making sure that safety aspects are considered
*Work with Users and Suppliers to ensure the overarching capability is realised to its full potential
*Minimise and manage the risk to availability, whilst ensuring that the solution remains safe and fit for purpose through life
*Manage the obsolescence of components, and ensure that the solution is properly disposed of (or terminated) when appropriate.
*Follow guidance on applying a common engineering approach, ensuring the impact of deviation is understood.

Key tasks and deliverables:
*Continued assurance of airworthiness on multiple aircraft
*Manage and direct Quality Audits as required
*Production of reports and presentations as required

Experience Required:
*The role requires an understanding of or experience using Electronic Record Systems (such as LITs or GOLDEsp/WRAM)
*This is essentially requires the candidate to compile quality audits, working on Dauphin N3, Lynx and Chinook aircrafts, producing reports, matching up the correct paperwork and audits
*Conducting the Military Airworthiness Review Certificate process on multiple aircraft from all 3 services *Conducting the aircraft condition surveys on aircraft
*Provide assurance to the continuing airworthiness manager.
*Training to conduct both inspections and report writing will be provided.
*The role requires a good understanding of recent MAA regulatory changes, especially 4000 series regulatory articles
