Senior Business Data Architect/Retail Bank/up to £1000 per day
Our client, a Financial Services organisation, is searching for a Senior Business Data Architect with a good understanding and experience of business analysis and business data requirements in the Financial Services industry.
A major component of the Group Data Strategy is the creation and implementation of the Group Business data Architecture. The BDA will define the business standards of data in the future state. The data architecture will describe the meaning, purpose, use, owners, producers, consumers of data.
Candidates will have strong experience of integrating business data architectures with IT data architecture, as well as working and integrating business data models with business capabilities and IT capabilities.
The successful candidate will:
- lead the integration of the Business Data Architecture with other workstreams of the Group Data Management Programme.
- lead the review, sign off and adoption strategy for business information model data domains in close collaboration with the Global Businesses and Global functions business Data Architects.
- lead implementation of the business information models in the data dictionary and other related tools.
The key challenges will be:
- the global nature of the programmes (complex stakeholder management)
- the scope and complexity of business information models
- cross business line networks
- dependencies on other projects and programmes
Financial Services experience is a pre-requisite, along with good stakeholder management and strong communication skills.
