Strategic Communications and Compliance Officer x2; London; 4 months; £220 - £295/day

My client, a public sector organisation is looking to recruit x2 Strategic Communications & Compliance Officer, in London. One role is more senior then the other and therefore is paying at the higher end.

Senior Strategic Communications and Compliance Officer: will have experience in Line management, Complex project management and designing strategies, producing submissions, cost effectiveness, analysis of communications.

Strategic Communications and Compliance Officer: will have experience in compliance with consumer and competition law, Internal and external communication with colleagues and stakeholders, project management skills and previous experience of delivering communication campaigns.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
*Developing and delivering an internal communication strategy in line with government legislation and departmental policies
*Working closely with key stakeholders, ensuring that colleagues are aware and engaged with corporate initiatives
*Managing a range of internal communications channels
*Managing key internal staff events
*Developing new and innovative ways of communicating departmental changes and developments to staff members
*Organising internal departmental events and functions
*General up keep of Intranet site
*Ensuring staff distribution lists are kept up to date

Key tasks and deliverables
*To design and deliver individual communications strategies to improve businesses' compliance with consumer and competition law using a range of channels (including partnership, PR, digital), setting SMART objectives and planning/delivering robust evaluation of outputs and outcomes
*To work closely with colleagues in other parts of the CMA to create accurate, relevant messaging and activity
*To contribute to the delivery of a successful business audience segmentation, working with external agencies/partners as appropriate
*To work with external organisations and associations to form strong working partnerships, identifying shared objectives and delivering mutually beneficial communication activity.
*To work with creative and other external suppliers to facilitate the delivery of CMA communication materials
*In all work, to demonstrate and promote the CMA values of ambition, excellence, commitment, teamwork, and fairness
*To work flexibly as part of the wider Strategy, Communications and Devolved Nations team to take on projects and tasks as necessary to support colleagues and deal with peaks and troughs in workload.
