Carbon60 Global requires a Stress Engineer to in Guildford, Surrey with one of our key clients.
The Stress Engineer in Surrey will be working within the Spacecraft sector with this client being involve the Analysis of lightweight structures through a mix of FEM Finite Element Modelling, Static and Dynamic FEA finite element Analysis and Thermo-Elastic Analysis. The team also refine models using feedback from experimental data and develop load environment specifications. The Stress Engineer will need to have strong stress engineering skills gained for working within the Spacecraft, Aviation or Aerospace sector.
A strong knowledge of the principles of FEA Structural analysis of metallic and composite components Highly proficient in the use of Nastran/Hypermesh/Ansys Detailed hand stressing.
