Virtual Web Developer- Back end

Description

We are searching for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for developing innovative

WordPress Plugins for our progressive online marketing company. We’re expecting candidates to be awesome at working from home, and to be available to sync up with the Development Team a few times each week during the afternoon (Eastern Time) to go over projects.

Skills & Requirements:

3+ years of website development, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL required. Knowledge of Mercurial a plus, but not required.

Candidates should have proven WordPress Plugin development experience as well as a solid understanding of WordPress Actions & Filters.

Concrete understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.

Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of schedules and budgets.

Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills.

Ability to communicate directly with peers and managers while growing professionally in a highly flexible and fast-moving environment.
