Your job
This job will see you work in a DevOps team in one of the departments. DevOps teams develop and manage one or more applications for a period of at least 18 months. They work according to the Scrum method and Continuous Delivery Engineering Practices. This means short sprints with miltidisciplinary teams. The exact role will not only depend on skills and knowledge but certainly on attitude and eagerness.
You will work in a DevOps team, made up of Dev Engineers and Ops Engineers, and report to the Dev Manager. You will create the software application - development, coding and compilation of an application version and writing and performance of the functional, integration, user acceptance and production tests.

Job Description
Your main focus will be:
- high volume services for Bankwide Customer Domain that support the AML (Anti Money Laudering) and Name Screening activities
- Analysis, Development and Testing of new functionalities
- Improving continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Creation of technical design and documentation
- Support activities
Your work environment
Group Services (GS) is part of OIB and takes care of application development, performs various operational IT activities, manages the applications, systems and processes needed for ING Group activities and customers, and is responsible for the development and delivery of change programs and projects in that domain.
You will be part of a technical, global DevOps team that works on the creation and management of top-quality software every day at a high, professional level, on the basis of the Scrum method and Continuous Delivery practices, with expertise and understanding of how the bank works and of end user needs. The bank makes conscious choices regarding whether to develop/manage its software in-house or purchase software packages from the market. This way of working means that we will expect staff to be ambitious and driven.
As you can understand, the work is crucial and in an international application. The applications reside within worldwide suite of Bankwide Customer Domain - Vantage. Your colleagues are quite diverse and have several nationalities.
Profile
- Professional and intellectual ability at higher vocational education (HBO) or university level, with a background in IT.
- Experience of developing a multi-tier application.
- Object-oriented analysis and design, mainly in a Java environment (3+ years).
- Knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration and SOA principles and experience with Tibco AMX BusinessWorks (1+ years).
- Sound knowledge of the Fircosoft application (pre)
- Knowledge and experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery processes and tools such as Jenkins, SoapUI, Subversion.
- Java certification and/or Tibco certification
- Experience working in a multi-cultured environment where English is the working language and you easily get on with people from different cultural background
