VOD Engineer - DVB, DTV, IPTV
Our client a leading ISP in Belgium is searching for a VOD Engineer to be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the equipment providing VOD Services. As the VOD Engineer you will make sure the functioning of platforms are not experiencing faults as this is critical to the provision of services. We are searching for a VOD Engineer who can configure and dimension the VOD platform to meet the customer needs, and be involved in projects related to VOD systems and ensure consideration and operational aspects. The team this will be working in also provide 3rd line support for the VOD services.
Knowledge/Essential Skills:
- VOD Content Management Systems.
- DVB knowledge.
- MPEG knowledge (encoding, decoding, transcoding).
- OS: CentOS/Windows server
- WEB/FTP server (IIS/Apache/FileZilla)
- Network basics (routing/switching) (load balancing (optional)
- Basic Programming/Scripting skills (optional)
- Very basic web design skills (optional)
Languages:
- French/English (mandatory), Dutch (optional)
