Capital Modelling Analyst - Actuarial - Insurance
A leading Insurer based in the City are currently recruiting for a Capital Modelling Analyst. The role will support the testing, validation and documentation of their Group model to aid strategy and risk adjusted profit calculations. You would be involved in the development of capital models to support different regional regulatory requirements.
The role will be performing actuarial/quantitative analysis of the model outputs for a testing and validation purposes. You will be working closely with both the Actuarial/Risk and Change Management teams so must have strong stakeholder and communications skills.
The ideal candidate will have come from a Mathematics, Statistics or Actuarial Science background with experience of using Statistical/DFA modelling platforms/tools, in particular Igloo or MatLab with a strong understanding of mathematical/actuarial concepts/methodologies.
