To provide in depth expertise, reference and analysis for the programme with relation to Finance Operations processes.
Job Description
Key deliverables are the controls required to ensure financial integrity of the systems and finance processes with a focus on the ability to operate those controls within a finance operations team
Activities would be covering such activity as:
- Analyse and assess the impact of change to the Finance Operations Management Team, agree procedures and success criteria.
- Ensure adequate quality assurance and sign off is undertaken prior to handover to BAU
- Analyse and resolve business, financial and processing issues making recommendations for the most effective and efficient solutions to problems
- Support initial impact assessments, requirements gathering, develop testing requirements and control the user acceptance testing for changes to Finance Operations Processes
- Interpretation of project requirements and their impact on Finance Operations processes
- Proactive creation and monitoring of project plans and deliverables
- Documentation of AS IS and TO BE processes to include detailed process flows
- Proactive identification and communication of project RAIDs in a timely manner
- Carry out staff training if appropriate ensuring there is a full understanding of all change and new procedures
- Troubleshooting problems and UAT as required
- Proactively review processes/procedures and requirements, identifying areas of improvement and supporting the implementation of change
