£200-£390 per day

Summary:

To carry out the effective procurement of materials and services in support of Soft Services, establish the category approach and strategy in agreement with wider business to deliver required savings target.
Responsibilities:

*Tactical management of categories to ensure delivery of objectives.
*Identify and rationalise saving opportunities through becoming category expert, understanding wider market dependencies.
*Monitoring and ensuring compliance to Preferred Supplier Agreements.
*Responsible for conducting RFQ and tender process through to negotiating with suppliers and drafting contracts.
*Ensuring that all buying activities are carried out in accordance with procurement processes and working with business units to resolve compliance issues.
*Identifying any opportunity to continually improve processes to ensure lean, effective procurement process supporting operations.
*Promoting and facilitating intra-company cross-selling opportunities where possible.
*Motivate and develop direct reports to ensure delivery of targets and reports.
*Monitor and managing supplier performance in accordance with agreed KPI's.
*Ensuring rebates are reported on a quarterly basis and collected in timely manner.
*Carrying out key supplier reviews in accordance with the latest forms and guidance

*The role holder will need to be an excellent communicator across a varied audience both internally and with third party suppliers. Developing relationships across the operational business and with national suppliers is key to the success of the role.
