Systems Engineer - MCSE CCNA Microsoft CISCO
The purpose of this Contract is to engage a Systems Engineer is to work as part of a technical lead team under the management of the clients Infrastructure and Operations Team Leader.
He/she will work with the team comprised of several resources with targeted expertise (such as Windows Server, Exchange, Lync, Sharepoint, SQL, Oracle, Networking);
The Systems Engineer shall perform tasks in the following key areas:
Maintenance and 3rd level Support of all the clients Server & Network infrastructure following defined procedures & ticketing system SLAs;
Support Business Applications and software developers across the software life cycle from Development to Acceptance Testing to Production;
Ensure system security, availability & performance and capacity management;
Ensure documentation, automation and delegation to other IT areas as appropriate;
Participate in new projects, product implementation and ensure smooth transition into Operations;
Perform tasks as assigned by the Clients Technical Infrastructure, Maintenance and Support Manager.
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification and expertise;
Six to ten years of experience in administering and managing Microsoft systems including several of the following products: Active Directory, Exchange/Lync, SQL, SCOM/SCCM/SCVMM/DPM, TMG, Group Policies, Powershell Scripting;
Expertise in Hyper-V, Windows Clustering, Network Load Balancing;
Experience in administering SAN storage arrays, CISCO Networks & Firewalls;
