Senior Web User Interface (UI) Developer (Contract)
Description
You will work as part of a team to design and develop the next generation of our Workspace product for Web. You will be part of a cross disciplinary team delivering across Android, iOS, Web and desktop. You will work closely with the serverside teams to influence the REST-ful APIs being made available by our cloud services. This is a JavaScript intensive position that requires excellent knowledge of the DOM as well as cross browser intricacies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years commercial experience, with core web technologies (HTML, Javascript/DOM, CSS)
- Experience with dealing with structured data formats (arrays, objects) represented using a mark-up language (like XML)
- JavaScript API's experience (Ember, Angular, Dojo, jQuery, YUI, Prototype, Mootools, ExtJS, etc..)
- Exposure to HTML5, Canvas, JSLint, OO Javascript practices
- Knowledge of web standards principles and practices
- Understand the intricacies and insanities of cross-browser development.
- Ability to work independently from assignment through completion
- An eye for design and layout.
