MongoDB/Java/J2EE Developer - 6 Month Contract - Helsinki, FinlandThe Client:
Our client, a Global Consultancy (FTSE 500) currently requires a MongoDB/Java/J2EE Developer for a 6 month engagement in Helsinki, Finland.
Role:-
Be a hands-on technical team member
Provide leadership to the team by being deeply involved in development, code review, and configuration and testing
Mentor the members of the team to become better developers and build a high performance team
Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize and adapt quickly to change in high pressure situations with minimal supervision required
Ability to work with external vendors to resolve issues and manage project initiatives
Be responsible for delivering the deliverables with quality and on-time
Proven problem resolution and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to work in a team and self learning skills
Ability to self motivates and work unsupervised.
Motivates others and performs well in demanding situations.
Candidate:-
MungoDB development skills
Very good System Design, Implementation and Performance tuning knowledge in MongoDB
Definite experience in building a store locator solution (a robust & scalable online system) with MongoDB using any of the cloud services (preferably Azure Cloud Service)
Good Java, J2EE (JSP, Servlet), Junit, skills
Good Spring Framework, Spring MVC and Hibernate skills
Strong knowledge in Test Driven Development - Experience with Selenium or Robot Frame Work
Web Services, REST API/services, Json, Jackson,
Strong knowledge in XML, XSLT and JAXB
Maven or Ant, GIT or SVN subeclipse, jenkins - Must have
Must have basic working knowledge in UNIX or Linux OS
Understanding of web technologies HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax
Experience in developing Business & Internet Portal
Experience in Content development & Publishing system - preferred Core Media
Experience in Agile scrum added advantage
Demonstrable experience throughout the software development life cycle, from analysis to testing and deployment phases.
Ability to interact with technical and functional staff at all levels
Rate:-
€45 - €54 per hour
