Insights Analyst - Excel - Recommendation Generation - Complex Data - 6 months
My client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is looking for an Insight Analyst to join their team on a contract basis in Maidenhead. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter with an analytical mind, have the ability to interpret large amounts of data and has extensive knowledge in Data Mining
Responsibilities
- Drive excellent business Insight through internal and external data sources to understand key trends and identify opportunities and risks
- Promotional Evaluation and insight/recommendation generation
- Analysis of key initiatives and business issues
- Maintenance and management of the invoice ledger
- Support Business Unit head with analysis
Key Requirements
- Strong, proven analytical skills including ability to mine data to find robust trends and insights
- Ability to understand complex data and communicate it in a clear, simple way
- Must be an expert in excel
- Must be a self starter
- Ability to use relational databases eg MS Access and knowledge of VBA, ERP eg SAP, and flat files is an advantage
