I am recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to work for my client based in the West Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Sum Agreement life cycle
- Final Account agreement life cycle
- Maintenance, updating of database system/IT tools as required
- Attendance at meetings when requested to do so with the client or Suppliers
- Provision of cost and or contractual advice on an ad hoc basis
- Provision of regular and ad hoc reporting on site costs and Supplier performance against timescales
Essential Qualities:
- BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
- Affiliation to a relevant professional body (RISC, CIOB or similar) would be an advantage
- Strong post academic qualification quantity surveying experience with a recognised construction organisation
- Good Communication, negotiation and presentation skills
