Optimum Finance have an excellent opportunity for experienced Corporate Actions Analyst to join a leading wealth management firm in Edinburgh. This is a contract position that will last for 6 months.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain forthcoming corporate action events
- Ensure that all future corporate actions are on file for all funds and that the data is correct
- Co ordinate the process of obtaining the fund managers decision on future events and ensure that their decision is received on time
- Act as an interface between the Corporate Actions Validation Team and all clients, custodians and prime brokers
- Raise and monitor service issues and challenge service provision where necessary
- Monitor swift data received from custodians for all capital events
- Issue Corporate Action decisions to custodian banks within agreed timescales.
Experience required:
- In depth knowledge & industry experience within Corporate Actions
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and clients at senior management level
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Ability to plan and organise workload to meet deadlines, taking into account relative priorities
- A proven strong commitment to service quality
- Proven ability to work independently and to motivate and influence others
- Experience with Excel, Bloomberg, Telekurs is preferred
