Scientific Advisor

We are seeking a Scientific Advisor to Nordic Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Department within one of my Client's already established teams. The department consists of six dedicated team members who work on regulatory issues in the cosmetics, product communications and market surveillance. Because of parental leave within the team, we are seeking a replacement that is available from the end of July/beginning of August 2014 to May 2015.

As a Scientific Advisor you will report to the Nordic Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Director and its main tasks are to:

Evaluate product communication based on scientific evidence and ensure that national and EU-wide legislation is met

Provide support to and collaborate with the business divisions, such as training

Regulatory monitoring, such as creating and updating technical procedures for marking

You can be at the beginning of your career or have more experience. The position can be adjusted accordingly. You will primarily focus on the evaluation of product communications such as product texts, advertisements and other marketing materials for the business divisions in the North. You will also have daily contact and cooperation with regulatory and scientific departments in other geographies. This position is located in my client's Nordic headquarters in Copenhagen.

Your profile:
* You are a trained chemist, engineer/civil engineer, biochemist or equivalent in science
* You have 2-3 years experience in similar work
* You are motivated to follow and interpret regulatory issues
* You have the ability to communicate scientific information to different audiences in an educational way
* You have an eye for detail, is highly organised and have the ability to communicate in a structured way
* You speak Swedish fluently in speech and writing and understand Danish and Norwegian well
* You speak English fluently in speech and writing; French skills are a strong bonus
